Starts August 2nd!

Some samplin’s from our favorite store for sales… how do they do it? Free mascara?!!!! This will be gone by Wednesday so hurry… (though you can usually get a rebate, it always frustrates me to do so)…(It’s feels like second prize or something)… Lashblast, by the way, is the best cheap mascara on the market. I have been swimming in it, slept in it and even cried my eyes out watching Message  in a Bottle, and it lasted through all of that!

In addition, it’s heavy on the back to school supplies at walgreens, K-Mart and of course, Wal-Mart

It was a zoo at our local stores this weekend. Likewise, it was a zoo in my home, with school preparation going on. I am unclear why one of the children must have a new backpack, when hers never looks used at all. The other has been dragging around a backpack held together with duct tape. This child refuses to part with it, or consider purchasing any other… why is this??  Husbands and children, two things I will never figure out. )

Here’s a great recipie for end of summer refreshment  after a long day of school shopping:

Mango Peach Smoothies

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted and cubed
1 cup fresh or frozen peaches (canned work too)
1 cup peach or vanilla  frozen yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
1/4 cup fruit juice (cranberry, orange or any juice blend)

Combine all ingredients in a blender container and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 chilled glasses.
